UNEXPECTED DRAMA ON THANKSGIVINGLife came to a standstill last night when my sister called to tell me
that my mother had suffered a stroke while recovering from back surgery. The stroke is considered moderate to severe.
She is somewhat stable but in serious condition. She is alert enough to respond and she knows what's going on but
she can't communicate at all. Everything that is precious in life presented itself last night. It's amazing.
Every childhood memory, every laugh and every cry that I have ever had with my mother flashed before my eyes. Please
say a prayer or light a candle for my mother during this trying period. I am NOT ready to say goodbye. I'll
keep you posted on her progress. Thank you!

HAPPY THANKSGIVINGGood morning! It has been a long and rewarding
fall season both behind the microphone and behind the teacher's desk. I just finished a 7 city tour teaching a number
of different voice over classes. I have four classes remaining in Portland, Oregon after Thanksgiving and then I am
done for a few months! The voice over work has been busy as well, as I have been trying to get it all done while being
on the road. My mother
had to have back surgery a few days ago. It was a nine hour surgery. She is slowly recovering after losing two
pints of blood during the surgery. She had to have a blood transfusion. It's looking up, as she continues
to recover. She'll be released from the hospital tomorrow. It puts everything in perspective when your 67
year old mother has an intense surgery like this. Thank God, she'll going to pull through. Have a fantastic
Thanksgiving everyone and please stay in touch!
