Did Voice 2008 live up to the hype? For me? Pretty close. This year, there were two events that I was so excited about, it sometimes kept me up at night. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and Voice 2008. I'm happy to report that Voice 2008 was not even close to the disappointment I had after seeing the Indiana Jones movie. In fact, there were many wonderful things that took place. Now, I did not have a chance to see all of them but the lectures that really stood out for me were Cashman, Cipriano's promo panel, Bergen's lecture, Gabrielle's radio imaging seminar and the one I did on Internet marketing. Wait! Okay, maybe that will be next year. My favorite thing about the event was meeting a lot of the VO peeps that I have come to know over the Internet and great social networking sites like "Voiceover Universe". So many talented people. My second favorite thing was paying $17 for a turkey burger at the lobby restaurant/bar. Ha!  Thanks for the great time and the memories!
